The Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) are a group of involved parents who are committed to ensuring that the best possible learning environment is created for all of the children at Glenhaven Public School.
As a P&C Association, we have been established to:
>Promote the interest of the school by bringing parents, citizens, students and teaching staff into close co-operation.
Assist in providing facilities and equipment for the school and promoting the recreation and welfare of the students at the school.
We are proud to be part of, and represent, such a strong and supportive school community. Through our welcoming approach and transparent communication, we strive to maintain this valued sense of community amongst our children, parents, staff and the greater Glenhaven community. Our P&C also operates our school uniform shop and canteen. We work collaboratively with, and are generously supported by, our parent body, the Principal and staff of our school to help make Glenhaven Public School the only place to be!
P&C Meetings
Currently being held as a combination of face-to-face and zoom meetings. Our P&C meetings provide a forum for open discussion between the parents of our school community and our teaching staff, represented by our Principal, Mrs. Kerry Maxwell. At these meetings we discuss the ways in which the P&C can support the activities of our school, our priorities for fundraising, our progress and ultimately how these funds will be reinvested to enrich the learning environment for our children.
The P&C meeting takes place on the first Tuesday of every month at 7pm either online or in the staffroom at Glenhaven Public School (excluding school holidays). Any member of our school community is welcome to join us.

Father's Day Breakfast: An opportunity for Dads and Grandpas to come and have breakfast with your children before school starts. Come dressed in your favourite Jersey and support Jersey Day, which is designed to raise awareness of the Organ and Tissue Authority and Donate Life Network and have a conversation with your friends and family
about Organ Donation. This event occurs on the Friday prior to Father's Day.
Fundraising goal
One of our objectives as P&C is to assist the school in providing facilities and equipment. We do this by requesting a voluntary contribution from each student to ensure the events we do run are for the benefit of the community and enable the students and community to become one and have some fun. The $80.00 voluntary contribution is applied to your Term 2 school fees and is paid directly to the office. Alternatively, the P&C will run a Fundraising event in lieu of the voluntary contribution. All our monies raised, less some operational costs, is donated back to the school and used to reach our objectives and to make Glenhaven Public School ‘the only place to be'.
