Hungry Haven Canteen is operated by Glenhaven Public School Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) and managed by P & C employees Rochelle and Anne.
Hungry Haven is an accredited NSW Healthy School Canteen (2022-2025), featuring a broad menu of fresh, fun and nutritious meals and snacks.
The canteen operates an online order recess and lunch service, 5 days a week.
Starting in Term 4 2022, the canteen will be open for lunchtime counter service Wednesday to Friday. This is a snack service only - lunch orders will still need to be ordered on Flexischools.
How to place an order?
Recess and lunch orders are placed by the Flexischools App or Flexischools website before the daily 9am cut off.
We appreciate your assistance in ensuring that all orders are placed on time.
Volunteer Help Needed
The canteen relies on the support of community volunteers to assist with food preparation and service. This support enables the P & C to provide an ongoing 5-day full-service canteen for the students.

Allergy Allerts
If your child has any allergies, please ensure that the school is made aware and that you select the appropriate allergy alert on Flexischools when placing EVERY order.
Forgotten Lunch
In the event that a student does not have recess or lunch, they are required to ask their classroom teacher for a Canteen Token. This token can be redeemed for a limited menu of items. An invoice will be sent home via the student's classroom and payment is required within 7 days.
Contacting the Canteen
If you need to contact the canteen team, there are two ways to do so.
Phone: During canteen hours (9am - 2pm) please call the school office and ask to be transferred to the canteen to speak with one of our staff. If you have forgotten to place a student's recess or lunch order, please be aware that there is only a limited menu available for phone orders and an IOU payment will need to be made immediately via Flexischools.
Email: The canteen email is: glenhavenpublicschool-can@pandcaffiliate.org.au. Our team will endeavour to respond within 24-48 hours Mon-Fri.
Please do not contact canteen staff members via social media or personal messages to place or change orders.
